5 upcoming smartphones to look out for

It seems new smartphones are being developed and released almost every week. These days, without a smartphone, it is really difficult to go through the day as smartphones have become a mainstream device in helping us with almost everything. With a smartphone, people can be more efficient and can connect to the rest of the world.

With smartphones being a staple device in this age, new ones replace the old models in a very short period of time. But that is not a bad thing, with new phones, comes new and exciting features. There are many who are interested to find out the new smartphones the developers are about to produce, so we have come up with a list for 5 upcoming smartphones to look out for. Have a look:

1) Samsung Galaxy On7

This new phone by Samsung features a 13 MP camera , 1.5 GB RAM and 8 GB internal memory. Although this phone is not likely to be a flagship phone, it will be useful for those who want a phone for simple uses and for those who don’t want extra features. The phone will be considerably cheap as well so, for those people who are on a tight budget, this phone will be perfect. It will feature a Android OS, v5.1 (Lollipop) and a Quad-core 1.2 GHz CPU.

2) Asus Zenfone Zoom ZX550

Asus are ready to release their new flagship phone, The Asus Zenfone Zoom. This phone has high emphasis on its zoom feature of the camera, it features a 13 MP, 4128 x 3096 pixels, optical image stabilization, dual-LED (dual tone) flash camera. The amazing feature is the zoom on the camera, it features a steady 12X zoom with OIS to see clear details of pictures. It also has a lowlight mode for 400% brighter images taken in the dark! It features a snapdragon 820 processor and an impressive 20 MP rear and a 5 MP front camera. The rear camera also features a triple LED flash for excellent photo shots even at night time. With 3 GB of internal RAM, you can choose from either a 32 GB model or a 64 GB one and it also has a micro SD card slot for expansion of storage. The operating system is the new Microsoft Windows 10 so we will have to see how it does against the Android counterparts.

4) Sony Xperia Z5 Premium

Sony are adding to their line of Xperia Z series with the new Xperia Z5 premium. The Z5 Premium features an impressive 23 MP rear camera and a 5.1 MP front camera. It also has the feature of multi-touch of up to 10 fingers! although it would be hard to imagine someone using 10 fingers at the same time, that is impressive. It features the Android OS, v5.1.1 (Lollipop) and has plans to upgrade to the  v6.0 (Marshmallow) as soon as it comes out. Featuring 3 GB RAM and a Qualcomm MSM8994 Snapdragon 810 processor, it has a internal storage of 32 GB and can be expanded up to 200 GB via a micro SD card.

5) Google Project Ara

The specifications of this phone is not certain and that is the beauty of it, the concept of this phone is simple, you buy a basic model Ara phone and all the bits can be pulled off and swapped as you see fit. Fancy a more powerful camera module? You’ll be able to buy one through Google’s dedicated store – a treasure trove of hardware modules populated by components made by third-party manufacturers. Just like Google Play for apps, in fact. The same will be true of many other components, including things like memory, display panels, physical keyboards, sensors and scanners, ports, modems and wireless modules, and much, much more. With such a phone, you can have almost a self made phone for yourself with all the components chose by you. The phone is expected to be released in 2015 but there have been delays so there is no certainty of it.
