Huawei is all set to launch its flagship phone, the Huawei Mate 10 Pro in the US coming November. Huawei announced the Huawei Mate 10 Pro and the Huawei Mate 10 in its flagship launch event. The Huawei Mate 10 Pro coming to US but no the Huawei Mate 10, the reason we were told is that the US market looks forward to phones with slim bezels and Amoled display.
Let’s quickly run through the specs of the Huawei Mate 10 Pro:
- 6″ 1080p Amoled Display
- Kirin 970 SoC
- 4GB of RAM
- 12MP Rear Camera with 20MP monochrome sensor
- Both the rear lens with f/1.6 aperture
- Dual SIM slot
- IP67 Water Resistant
- 4000mAh Battery
- Well-placed rear fingerprint scanner
- USB C with Rapid Charging
The Huawei Mate 10 Pro is very similar to Huawei Mate 10 except for the fact that the Pro has the now-standard 18:9 aspect ration but has a lower resolution 2160*1080. On the plus side, the Mate 10 Pro has an Amoled display.
The Huawei Mate 10 Pro directly competes with the Google Pixel 2 XL and the Samsung Galaxy Note 8. And in many ways, it competes with the iPhone 8 Plus as well. Huawei may not be a brand that all American understand and recognize immediately but it is certainly a brand that is gaining global recognition in a speed like no other. The Mate 10 Pro’s Kirin 970 SoC is also just as fast as the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 if not any faster.
The Huawei Mate 10 Pro is a true flagship phone that can go against the likes of the Galaxy Note 8 and the iPhone 8 Plus. The phone has one of the best cameras in any smartphone. Huawei works very closely with Leica while designing the phone cameras. And they have delivered it extremely well with the Huawei Mate 10 Pro.
